Who are the Lockhart Hawks?
A team burstin’ at the seams—a whole lotta passion, community pride, and uncanny ability to smell prey from incredible distance.
The Hawks are folks from Lockhart, Luling, Martindale, and other nearby locales that all share a love of baseball, community, and having a good time.
From carpenters to scientists, local business owners to musicians, the Lockhart Hawks are ingrained in the Lockhart community and passionate about being involved and giving back.
And of course crushing balls.
What’s Our Mission?
The Lockhart Hawks’ mission is simple — play baseball, have fun, honor the game, and honor our community.
In a little more detail, our main goal is to have a good time with our teammates, other teams, our town, and lovers of The Hawks. In Sandlot Baseball, it’s important to experience camaraderie with not only your own teammates, but with the teams you play. It doesn’t matter so much who wins and who loses, it’s about loving baseball and developing relationships both on and off the field.
We’ll strive to showcase Lockhart as the amazing place it is when we play other teams and give back to our community by supporting other local organizations, teams, and nonprofits.
